Boise, ID – The Western Region of the American Advertising Federation (AAF) has announced the winners of the first Best of the West Media Awards for 2021, an awards program honoring individuals and companies who exemplify excellence in service to their communities and the advertising media industry.
“In its inaugural year, the Best of the West competition received entries from the largest and smallest of media markets across 10 western states,” said Paul Klein, Chairman of AAF Western Region in making the announcement. “These awards recognize the enormous scope of public service that local media and advertising agencies contribute every year to their individual communities, and the winners demonstrate that quality of community service isn’t limited to the size of local markets.”
The Best of the West Media Awards honors individuals and companies demonstrating excellence in service to their communities large and small for the quality of work and service within the markets they serve. It is an annual competition sponsored by the Western Region of AAF, the advertising industry’s largest trade organization.
The judges for the competition were Bree Roe, Senior Director, Client Experience at Goodway Group; Sheila Dinjar, Senior Account Executive at Clear Channel Outdoor; Cristen Bozeman, Senior Media Co-Director at Stamp Idea; and James Lewis-Van Vorst, owner at Nomad Coworks. Final judging for the inaugural Best of the West Media Awards was completed in April.
