We recognize how vital the media industry is in informing and serving our local communities, and it’s our mission to ensure that the individuals and organizations making the impact are honored for their hard work and dedication. Through the Best of the West Media Awards, media companies of all sizes, standout employees, and aspiring media students in the Western U.S. will have the opportunity to earn recognition for their outstanding achievements.
Entrants compete for the Best of the West Media Awards in 20 diverse categories, highlighting company, individual, and student contributions. From major media players to local gems, there’s a chance for everyone to win. The competition is designed to level the playing field, ensuring media outlets of all sizes compete against peers in similar markets.

Award Boundaries
The Award boundaries will mirror the American Advertising Federation Western Region boundaries which includes the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming and the El Paso market area of Texas.
